Laundry The home includes a washer and dryer. Detergent pods are provided. - Use only one pod per load (high-efficiency system) - Clean the lint trap after each use to prevent fire hazards Lighting - Patio stairs: Switch at the bottom of the stairs, northeast corner (clear plastic cover) - Kitchen entrance: Switch at the bottom of the kitchen stairs - Under-house lighting: Switch at the bottom of the stairs leading to the kitchen Garbage Trash bins are located in the kitchen and downstairs. Please do not leave trash outside to avoid pests. Dispose of garbage in outdoor bins by the driveway and secure lids tightly. For longer stays, trash is collected Monday and Thursday. Windows For comfort and to avoid pests (including gnats), please keep windows closed. Fireplace Controls are on the lower right inside a recessed panel: - Heat, flame speed, brightness, rock color, flame color, timer, power Please avoid leaving the heater unattended. Parking Free parking is available for 4–5 vehicles. Park near the large set of stairs farthest from the entrance. No street or RV parking is permitted. Check-In & Check-Out - Check-in: 3:00 PM CT - Check-out: 11:00 AM CT Before check-out, please: 1. Load and start the dishwasher. 2. Take out all trash to outdoor bins. 3. Remove food from the refrigerator. 4. Lock doors and windows, return keys to the lockbox. 5. Turn off lights and electronics. 6. Place used towels on the bathroom floor or in front of the washer. 7. Double-check for personal items (we cannot mail lost belongings). e mindful of ferry - Septic System: Flush only toilet paper. No wipes, feminine products, food, grease, or coffee grounds. - Security Devices: Do not tamper with smart locks or other devices. - Sand: Rinse off in the outdoor shower; keep sandy items outside. - Pests: Do not leave food or drinks outside; keep windows closed. - Report Issues: Notify us immediately of any damage or malfunction. - No Smoking: Includes tobacco, cannabis, e-cigarettes. - No Parties or Events: Only registered guests allowed on property. - Pets: Dogs only (max 2). No pets on furniture. Note, yard is not fenced. - Illegal Activities: Strictly prohibited.
